Bramley Cottage

Great little cottage with 2 lovely pubs in walking distance, both serving fantastic food. The cottage was quiet, comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved it so much we booked to come back in a few months.

We had a great time at Bramley Cottage. It was so beautifully decorated and situated in a gorgeous village. We arrived late and the owner had lit the fire so it was cosy for our arrival, which we very much appreciated. A perfect cottage which was made extra special with small touches from Glenda. Would absolutely love to come back we had an amazing stay.

The cottage was beautiful. It was furnished and decorated exactly right with some very nice touches and equipped with everything anyone could need. The bedroom was beautiful, with super comfy bed and pillows and I had one of the best night's sleep in a long time. The owner provided great information and was warm and welcoming upon arrival. Everything was exactly as described, and better. Lovely location for walking and I am sorry my stay wasn't longer, but I would definitely return for a longer stay in the future.

Tastefully decorated cottage with everything needed for a very enjoyable short stay. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, and the owners have made excellent use of the space. We especially enjoyed the wood burning stove and extremely comfortable bed. The pub, The Bell, just a few minutes walk away, provided a couple of evenings of great entertainment, in a friendly and warm atmosphere.

We’re just back from a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage which has been renovated to an exceptionally high standard, with everything having been thought of! Glenda is a fantastic host and recommended some great places to visit and to eat - The Candlelight Inn in particular is definitely worth a visit. We visited with our 2 small dogs who equally enjoyed their stay and loved exploring the nearby beaches, national trust woodlands and quaint villages. Can imagine it would be lovely and cosy in the winter with the wood burner lit so we will definitely look to venture back! - Lisa

We visited Bramley cottage during a sunny week in June and were warmly greeted by Glenda. It is an immaculately presented and spotlessly clean cottage with a lovely patio area, set within a village with 2 pubs doing excellent food and both within very easy walking distance and with a post office/shop for essentials. National Trust and RHS have properties/gardens within an easy drive, making it a perfect location for us. We can highly recommend a stay here in it's peaceful setting.

An absolutely beautiful cottage, done to an incredible standard. Everything was so well thought through and our stay felt so relaxing as a result. Such a beautiful home from home. Felt very private too, and felt very much at ease coming and going. Everything from the kitchen, log burner, bed linen (!) was perfect. We’ll definitely be back!

A sumptuous bolthole for a couple. Bramley Cottage is equipped to the highest of standards with unique décor. There's a cosy wood burner in the autumn/winter and a lovely sunny courtyard garden in warmer weather. Great to have 2 pubs and village shop within walking distance and also the open countryside on your doorstep. Lovely location for exploring beautiful Somerset/Devon/Dorset towns, villages and coastlines.
