The Experience
This lovely old semi-detached stone cottage sits in very pretty countryside surrounded by farmland. Inside is light, bright and very comfortable with a sofa bed, a table and chairs in the window and a pretty terrace with shrubs, pots and herbs. Long summer evenings out here will be sublime – open some wine, light the barbecue and watch the sun go down while the stars appear.
The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need to cook up a storm. You’re left fresh bread, butter, milk, eggs and biscuits but it’s a short hop to shops. On rainy days you can head to the shared games room for table tennis and darts. Hire bikes and pedal along country lanes or fish for salmon in the river (you’ll need a permit.) There is safe storage for bikes and rods.
Sleep soundly and peacefully in a king size bed with crisp cotton and local art on the walls. Pamper yourself in the shower/wet room with a pebble floor for walk-weary feet.
