La Casa del Conte

The Casa del Conte is enviously positioned on the main artery which separates the Navona district from the Campo de'Fiori square, two prime areas of the historic center. Guests will appreciate the personal assistance of Andrea your host, and the high level of comfort in this Roman home where you can become part of the neighbourhood scene within seconds of arrival.

A wonderful restful quiet space in the busy city of Rome, and so central to walking everywhere, position could not be better. Having the separate lounge seating area is a bonus. Also great to be able to make a hot drink and have the mini fridge for cold ones. Olivella, the owner is also wonderful, so helpful with ordering taxi's and information on the city and where to eat. Rome is such an amazing city, we shall be back and we shall stay at La Casa del Conte.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Casa del Conte. The apartment was everything described on the website and more. It was well located, beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. We really appreciated all the little touches and the information and help received from Olivella who replied immediately to all our enquiries. If we return to Rome we would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was lovely and very conveniently located. We were greeted by the owner who took us through everything we needed to now and pointed out to us the local excellent restaurants and sights. The apartment is on the second floor but there is a lift to help with the luggage and a taxi rank around the corner. We would definitely stay again and have recommended the apartment to friends.

Lovely apartment for 2, perfectly located in the heart of Rome within easy walking distance of lots of places of interest and with many good restaurants nearby. Olivella was very welcoming and helped with recommendations and booking trains. Would be happy to recommend.

We stayed at La Casa del Conte for our 10th wedding anniversary and it was a perfect place for 2. It is beautifully furnished & very comfortable, with lovely personal touches and lots of local info. The owner (who lives nearby) is extremely nice and helpful - nothing was too much trouble, including organising a private limo to/from the airport. The location is ideal - we walked practically everywhere. And despite the bustle outside, the apartment itself was incredibly quiet & peaceful (the windows have very good double-glazing). If we return to Rome, we would certainly stay here again.

What a totally charming apartment right in the heart of Rome. Beautiful decor with authentic antique art and furniture. Breakfast included is served at a charming cafe nearby. We stayed 12 days at this spotlessly clean apartment and were very impressed. Your host is a charming lady. I doubt you could find a better home away from home in Rome

Casa del Conte is a very comfortable, well-equipped apartment, furnished beautifully with antiques. It was a quiet haven to return to at the end of busy days sightseeing.It's very central and we walked everywhere. The breakfast arrangement at a nearby cafe worked very well and Olivella arranged taxis for us from the airport. She is a very welcoming hostess and we would certainly recommend the apartment.

My husband, Bruce and I loved our short stay at Olivellas wonderful B&B and would LOVE to visit again. The apartment is so central and we loved coming back to this sanctuary after racing round Rome. Thank you Sawday's as I found this accomodation on your site !

I felt very at home in this immaculately maintained B&B. It is quiet, bright, clean, pretty & serviced every day. The owner provides you with good local information to start your exploration of Rome & makes you feel a welcomed guest. I also like the location as it's a 3 minute walk to Campo dei Fiori

Our experience started the moment we arrived at the Rome airport, with a driver waiting, as arranged by the proprietor. We arrived at Casa del Conte in a beautifully appointed suite that was extremely comfortable and decorated with original artwork. A comfortable bed with lovely linen was a welcome sight after a long day of walking around the city. Located within walking distance to almost all attractions, yet on a quiet street close to restaurants and a great cafe just around the corner. This accommodation is very special and we will definitely return.

This elegant apartment, perfect for two is superbly situated close to all the main sights. It was not necessary to use public transport at all. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner from arranging a car to and from the airport and for recommending tour guides. It was our first trip to Rome and we can't wait for our next!

Lovely, peaceful apartment in great part of Rome, and perfect base for getting around the city. Everything you need, all explained by Olivella and a delightful breakfast just down the road in a tree-lined square. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent 5 nights at Olivella's comfy apartment and found it to be a perfect base in Rome. It's wonderfully central and easy to reach all the sites of Rome but also a relaxing place to return to at any time. Beautifully clean and well decorated. Would certainly return and recommend to anyone going to Rome.
